Adding GIFs to Email Campaigns

I'd like to add a GIF to an Email Campaign. The "raw" versions of the file are uploading np but the finished versions are not. What are the restrictions / requirements on uploading GIFs.

The black one uploaded no prob. The red one I cut in half and it keeps processing.

@barb-mcgrath if it was able to get to the processing step, it shouldn't be anything about the file size. Can you double-check that there aren't any strange symbol characters in the URL? Files on the internet don't like things like ".$%=", though dashes and underscores are okay.

It is possible we aren't showing you the proper warning about those characters when uploading a gif. If that isn't it, can you email us the gif and we'll take a look at it for you?

Hey guys, I got this working. The work around is upload file #1, select Upload, click Add and select ANY file #2. That forces #1 to finish processing and voila it works! I know this is not what you want but it works!

Thanks for the update Barb! It is strange because that shouldn't make a difference. If you can still email us an example gif that caused this issue for you, we should be able to find a way to get it working without workarounds.
