Ideas regarding names

Hi, with a community in my course, we are running into issues we did not have before.
First, we are covering a very sensitive topic. So a lot of people do not want to appear in the community with their first and sure name. I think the possibility to choose a nickname for the community would be awesome!
We noticed that a few customers have started to rename themselves to avoid this problem. But this brings a completely new Issue, as we primarily tracked our users by name, it makes it easy for them to "disappear from our radar" when they change name and E-Mail.
When people want a refund, for example, but managed to change their name and E-Mail before, it is pretty hard to find their account to block them.
Has someone faced similar issues?
My suggestions are:
- Please give us the possibility to prohibit the change of the name. Like with the deletion of an account.
- It would be awesome to be able to choose a nickname for the community to stay more "incognito".

Hi Max,
Regarding being able to know who the student is when it comes to refunds, there are two places you can check. First, is checking the student's orders tab to see date and payment method used for an order to reference it. Second, even if the student changes their name and email, their profile URL cannot be changed. This profile URL is formed from their original name. IE: yours here in Creator Climb is "max-walter".
Now when it comes to the community it sounds like you have the opposite problem where you want users to be able to change their profile URL, and handle for @mentions. Since the profile URL cannot be updated by the student, if you do have some students who wish to stay more private, please email our support and we can help to adjust those profiles URLs for you.
The nickname specific to the community is a great idea and I'll make sure that is added to our feature requests. As far as prohibiting change of name, we might also consider to add in a name and email history so that admins can see past names and emails used by that student. We'll keep that in mind as well!
Thanks!
