I'd love to hear how people are using the Announcement and Email Campaign features and do you use each of them for different purposes or is there some crossover? When do you decide to if it's suitable to email the announcement instead of just using the banner?
It's something our team are chatting through at great length but it all still feels a bit messy in understanding what fits where.
Cheers

Hi Catherine! Announcements are designed for notices you intend to give everyone in your program, whereas Email Campaigns are meant to be targeted to members of a specific course or leads.
Announcement banners are useful for links and schedules of live events or Zoom meetings for example. Email Campaigns are not only more granular in segmenting who you send it to, but also allow for more formatting options. For example, you can add inline images and edit the entire HTML of an email campaign, even pasting in your own custom email newsletter template (compared to announcements which are more simple text-based notices).
Hope that helps!

Yes, that's how I've generally been using them. What I'm finding interesting is that certain 'short text' announcements are also only for segmented learners, so I'm using the campaigns for announcements too because I'm unable to segment the announcement. I think I'm trying to work out in my head which is most useful and how others are using them would be interesting to find out with some more examples added to what you've already mentioned.
