Stripe Accounts for Products

I would like to collaborate with someone who would become an admin on my account. If she were to create her own products to sell, is there a way to attach her stripe account to those products?

In Heights, payment gateways are connected at the account level in Payment Settings. This means you can connect one Stripe account (and/or one PayPal account) to your Heights account, and all products in that account will use that same connection. So if your collaborator is added as an admin and creates products in your account, those sales would be processed to the Stripe account you’ve connected in your Payment Settings. There isn’t a way to attach a different Stripe account to specific products within the same Heights account.

If your collaborator needs to be paid out directly to her own Stripe account, the current options would be:

• She sells through her own separate Heights account where she connects her own Stripe.
• You process all sales to your connected Stripe and handle revenue sharing outside of Heights. For tracking purposes, some creators use our Student Affiliate Program to record payouts (actual payments are handled outside Heights). There is a trick to take all of your collaborator's products and adjust the join button URL in the advanced options for the product to include her affiliate code. This way Heights would be doing the calculation on what she is owed for you, though you would still manage payouts in some way.

Step 1. Upgrade plan to include more authors/admins.

Step 2: Change the checkout link on the products she creates. That takes them to her checkout cart.
