Video Overlays vs Thumbnails

In the Height T-30 course, each video starts with an overlay on the lefthand side that slides away as Bryan talks.
Is that 1st view, the 1st frame of the video? IE is the 1st frame "set" to that view? Or is there a thumbnail?
Can the lesson thumbnail double as the video thumbnail or is the 1st frame of the video always displayed when a student opens a lesson for the 1st time?
Tx!

Yes, that is simply the first frame of the video!
Our video editor did a good job of not having my expression look too awkward to pull that off, but I didn't make it easy for him haha.
It isn't possible to add a custom thumbnail at this time but we are considering that request.

When I (a girl) give the videos to my editor (a boy) and ask that he try to find a "good" first frame, I've discovered my idea of good and his are entirely different!!
