Are the available classes listed somewhere? For example, I inadvertently deleted the img responsive class and need to add it back. HOW / where do I add it back?

Once I delete the contents from a section, and the section is blank, I can't seem to add Headers, Text, etc blocks back into the Section. Is the only way to edit a section to start with something already built and customize around it?

Just curious, is there a way to see/edit code directly?

Tx!

Not at the moment, but our team has been discussing how we can improve usability here while still making advanced editing just as easily possible.

In most cases you'll want to potentially toggle off a class, but not remove it.

img-responsive is the class you want to add back, and you'll probably want to leave that on all images as it helps them auto resize in mobile and tablet.

If you click the "checkmark" to disable a class on an element, it doesn't actually remove the class, instead it allows you to edit the selection of classes or element directly. More simply if you want to adjust one element, but not affect all other elements with the same class, uncheck the shared class before changing styles, then change styles, and check the class again. This way the style changes you make will only apply to that element.

We are considering to add a blank section template for advanced use, but in general the structure is Section > Column Container > Columns > All other elements.

  • Section: nothing can be outside a section
  • Column Container: a base container element in the section recommended to contain columns.
  • Columns: dependent on what you drag on the section or what is already there. Each page is a 12 column grid, so you can modify the column classes if you want to add more complex layouts. For example col-md-12 is full width and col-md-6 is half width (so you could have a two column layout with equal halves).

There isn't a way to edit code directly at this time. We recommend building a section you like, and then copying the entire section with the copy icon in the blue toolbar when you have it selected. Then use that as a starting point for your next section.

Here's how you can toggle off a class, and where you can add a class to an element:

I love this idea! I ended up not using classes as much as I would have liked because I kept overwriting other classes inadvertently. Oy! So a list of automatic ones would be very useful! :)
