50+ Points First Lesson Complete 10+ Points

This is the process that happens when a new student registers for my course. Many of my students receive funding to complete the course thus purchasing through Heights/Stripe does not work as taxes are not displayed on the receipt. I would love some help streamlining this process to make it easier and less manual. Any suggestions?

This is the current process:

  1. Payee pays in WooCommerce (WooCommerce shows taxes on receipt)
  2. Make (formerly Integromat) adds Payee to ActiveCampaign and adds GF Registered tag (sends email to Barb)
  3. Tag triggers email to payee
  4. Payee provides participant name & email as well as info for seo report in GForm.
  5. VA follow business on FB & IG & connects Barb via LinkedIn to the Payee & Participants.
  6. Plus+ participants complete ClickUp form. (form is sent in email from ActiveCampaign)
  7. Participant is manually added to Heights (Participant could add themselves to Heights with coupon code or could create an automation based on their woocommerce purchase?)
  8. VA completes SEO Report
  9. Barb sends personal email / video with seo report.
  10. Barb adds to calendar invites if applicable.
  11. Zapier adds Heights registrations and orders to Heights spreadsheet.
  12. Make adds Business & Participant Info to Alumni & Business Owner GSheet
  13. Participant requests Cert of Comp.
  14. Barb sends CoC, revised training receipt, course eval & review request.

Whew!!

@mike-cardona No not yet. And it's ok if no one is sure how to respond. It's a big process!

Hi @barb-mcgrath!

Here are some ideas that might help:

So your process could look like this:

  1. Payee pays in WooCommerce checkout page (linked to Heights via integration) - and they are automatically added to Heights as a student.
  2. An automation is triggered in ActiveCampaign and payee receives the welcome email, GF emails or ClickUp form email. (You can automate all of this in a single ActiveCampaign automation).
  3. VA follow business on FB & IG & connects Barb via LinkedIn to the Payee & Participants + VA completes SEO Report. You could automate a notification for this from either the WooCommerce sale email or with Make/ActiveCampaign.
  4. Barb sends personal email / video with seo report + adds calendar invites.
  5. Once the course is completed, you can set the certificate of completion to be sent automatically to students: https://support.heightsplatform.com/article/212-course-completion-certificates

Hope that helps!

Thanks @heights-platform !

Yes AC & Heights are connected but the student doesn't actually do anything. The payee does all of the processes until I manually add the student. Once I add them to Heights, then they are added to AC.

So the payee & the student are most often 2 different people. That's why taking data from Woocommerce doesn't work.

Can the certificate be sent when X points are achieved vs course completed? I played with this earlier and that was the stumbling block as my course is not built to complete every lesson, but each of the lessons that apply to them and will move the needle. (All based on that SEO report.)

Got it.

Maybe from the Google Form submission you can have Zapier or Make start the enrollment into Heights, as well as potentially trigger notifications or the calendar invite setup where applicable?

For the certificate, currently it can only be auto-granted upon completion, but you aren't the first to request granting based on a number of points. We'll add your +1 to this!
