Some exciting news: live streaming is coming soon to Heights Platform! 🎥
This powerful update will make it effortless to engage your students, run live lessons, and bring your community together in one place, without juggling additional tools.
Soon, you’ll be able to start live calls from different places within your account:
Live Lessons: Turn a course lesson into a live stream, and access the recording as a lesson video once the streaming is over.
Meeting Rooms: Start and schedule live calls or streaming sessions directly from your community channels.
Digital Products: Offer paid or free access to a live event or group meeting room using digital products, and share the registration page with users inside or outside your program to hold webinars, coaching sessions, and more.
We’d love to hear from you about how you plan to use this feature!
Do you plan to host live lessons within your course or challenge, using Heights as your Zoom alternative, sell access to live events to promote your courses, or something else?

Hi @crispin-yuen thanks for these questions.
We have the student engagement score and community algorithm cohorts which can both inform you how a student is performing vs your members as a whole, and affect what community notifications a student receives, but we do not yet use this to adjust or personalize learning paths. We'd like to explore something like this in the future; our only concern is that many creators don't have the content to support it.
Similar to the first answer, but we can add that you receive a weekly score engagement report which will inform you which students may need some additional assistance. You can learn more about the engagement score at the bottom of this article, as well as learn about the community algorithm here:

Yes, this is possible via a combination of either our hidden offers membership feature, roles feature, or course difficulty level labels. Feel free to email our team and we can provide more personalized guidance on this.
At this time, our Projects feature is the best way for students to put their new knowledge into practice. We imagine in the future technologies like VR and AR could be great to help provide interactive experiences in Heights, but the technology and its adoption isn't quite there yet.
Besides our Projects feature and community features, we offer assignment type lessons that can either be free-word response or multiple choice quizzes that a student must complete to be able to complete that lesson. Heights AI can help generate these quizzes for you based on the lesson content. See Heights Platform Quiz Builder and AI Quiz Generator

We don't identify specific knowledge or competency gaps at this time, but you would likely be able to identify these based on the data Heights provides you about a student and their progress.
We offer an order bump and upsell feature in checkout to help you tailor recommendations as customers purchase, but for customers going through certain content in your program, right now the best option is to manually add recommendation links to complimentary products from within a lesson. (Of course students will see any published products that aren't hidden so they will be able to purchase or enroll in complimentary products any time from products you promote on the student dashboard, or left sidebar.)
We definitely have many more ideas of how Heights AI can help improve both your creation experience and help you better assist learners in your program, so you can expect more from us around this in the future.
I hope this helps!
